Acadiana Center for the Arts 2026 Summer Group Exhibition, Call for Artists

Overview:

This is an Open Call for Louisiana artists to submit for inclusion in AcA's 2026 Summer Group Exhibition, juried by Amy Mackie.

This exhibition will take place in AcA's Main Gallery and will be open to the public June 13, 2026 - August 22, 2026.

Submission Cost:

It is FREE for AcA Members to submit work and for non-members there is a $25 fee for submission. 

Important Dates:

Call to Artists Announced/Submission Portal Opens: March 15th, 2026
Submission Portal Closes: Sunday April 19th, 2026
Selection Period: April 19th - April 30th, 2026
Artist Selection Announced: First week of May
Exhibition Dates: Saturday June 13th, 2026 - Saturday August 22nd, 2026

Artists AI Disclosure

All artists choosing to utilize varying forms of Artificial Intelligence must disclose their methods of usage regardless of scope.

This includes utilizing AI to craft or edit portions of their artwork (editing photos, videos or sound) as well as any usage of AI to write or edit statements and text submitted for inclusion in this exhibition.

Submission Agreement

If accepted, artists are financially responsible for all costs associated with delivery and/or shipping to and from AcA - see Submission Guidelines for full details. 

All artworks accepted for inclusion in this exhibition are subject to AcA’s Standard Loan & Exhibition Agreement provided within the Submission Guidelines. 

By signing below, I certify that I am 18 years of age or older as of January 1, 2025 and the works submitted are my own. I have read, understood and agree to the entirety of the Submission Guidelines and Loan Agreement
